Thorneycroft Solicitors: “Since starting with F4LPlus we have seen enquiries double month on month"

Founded in 1991 Thorneycroft Solicitors are based in Macclesfield, Cheshire, and deliver high-quality legal services to businesses and individual clients throughout the UK. They have a dedicated team of legal professionals covering a wide range of services including divorce and family law, conveyancing, wills, probate, lasting power of attorney and clinical negligence.

We spoke to Christine McClenaghan, Associate Director and Head of Conveyancing at the 13 strong residential property team at Thorneycroft Solicitors.

Joining F4LPlus

Thorneycroft were one of the first firms to sign up to F4LPlus back in January 2024 and since then have seen a steady increase in the number of leads and instructions.

They have been using the platform to generate both conveyancing and wills leads for their business.

Christine says: “This is the first time we have used a platform like this and we have been pleasantly surprised at the results it has delivered us to date.”

Easy to use platform

Ease of use is one of the key things Christine and her team enjoy about the platform, saying: “The platform is easy to use and lives up to the expectations we had.”

One of the most useful features of the platform is the instant messaging functionality, which enables the team to easily interact with potential clients and turn warm leads into hot prospects.

Real leads turn into real customers

Unlike other more conventional routes to market they are finding that F4LPlus offers real value. Christine says: “The client receives an instant quote ahead of the lead arriving to our team, therefore much of the onboarding work is already started, enabling us to sign clients up much more efficiently.”

She continues: “We get all the information we need about the client to start progressing the lead into an instruction and if we need more information then we can message the client directly through the platform.

“It makes the sales process feel less intrusive for the client and is a great way of generating new business for us.”

Exclusive leads

Almost 50% of the leads that Thorneycroft have received have fallen into the ‘exclusive lead’ category, which means they go to that firm only, bringing extra added value when it comes to converting prospective enquiries into paid instructions.

Business growth tool

Christine says: “Since starting with F4LPlus we have seen enquiries double month on month and are currently averaging one instruction per day now.

“What’s more the flexibility of the tool means we are seeing a nice spread of leads across all three of our firm's branches.”

She also commented that it was more than just about the platform itself and was very pleased with the wider client support received from First4Lawyers, helping the team maximise their use of the platform.
