Victory for First4InjuryClaims at the Personal Injury Awards

Congratulations to our colleagues at First4InjuryClaims who were crowned ‘Claimant Team of the Year’ at this year’s Personal Injury Awards.

The law firm, part of the First4Lawyers group, was set up just two years ago to help injured road users in the wake of the whiplash reforms.

It has since secured more than £4 million in damages for victims of road traffic accidents, achieving settlements around 100 days faster than those using the Official Injury Claim (OIC) portal face.

Judges, who chose First4InjuryClaims from an eight-strong shortlist, praised the team for ‘pushing boundaries’ during the black-tie awards dinner at Manchester’s Deansgate Hilton Hotel.

Andrew Wild, head of legal practice, says: “We are all absolutely delighted to receive this recognition and in such a relatively short space of time.”

First4Lawyers’ managing director Qamar Anwar adds: “Despite ceasing all marketing activity in that area, consumers continued to contact us, and we didn’t want to turn them away.

“We were fortunate that, with none of the legacy issues others faced, we were able to build a system from scratch that works with the OIC, and I am immensely proud of the team who work tirelessly to deliver such swift, seamless and positive outcomes for clients.”

Since its launch, the firm has also hired 10 homegrown graduates and apprentices, demonstrating our group-wide commitment to investing in and providing job opportunities for local people.
