First4InjuryClaims Recovers More Than £5 Million in Compensation for Injured Clients
Andrew Wild, head of legal practice, shares the latest updates from First4InjuryClaims.
First4InjuryClaims celebrated the new year by marking off another major milestone – recovering more than £5 million in compensation for injured clients.
I’m delighted to say that we have also settled more than 2,000 claims to date, and, on average, 150 days faster than the market average.
The wait faced by those using the Official Injury Claim (OIC) portal continues to creep up, which I address along with my suggestions to drive improvements in this blog for Insurance Claims.
It’s a stellar start to the year on the back of our ‘Claimant Team of the Year’ win at the Personal Injury Awards in November and our caseload continues to grow.
It is also pleasing to see the steady stream of positive reviews from satisfied clients, with more than 200 now on Google alone and an average rating of 4.8/5 stars.
None of this would be possible were it not for the hard work and dedication of our talented team and the superb customer service and client care they provide.

I was delighted to take part in a recent roundtable discussion, one of four hosted by MedCo for claimant representatives, defendant representatives, medical reporting organisations and direct medical experts. It was an interesting and informative session with peers sharing their views on the medical reporting process and what needs to be improved.
Groups met separately but MedCo hopes to bring us all together for further roundtables in the future. The organisation was also keen to stress that its door is always open to listen and learn and I urge anyone with constructive feedback to contact them directly so we can help to improve the process for everyone.
Myself and Nick Delaney, our business development director, also attended an event with former Lord Chancellor, Sir Robert Buckland. It was interesting to hear his perspective on the whiplash reforms and their success, which was not an opinion shared by many in the room!

There was a lot of love for the legal profession when the University of Huddersfield held its annual Law Careers Fair on Valentines Day.
For the third year running, First4InjuryClaims was invited to attend, and it was a privilege to speak and share learnings with the next generation of lawyers. Those who did stop by our exhibition stand were also gifted one of our famous goody bags!
Since launching in 2021, we have taken on 10 homegrown graduates and apprentices including several from the university. We are currently recruiting for another claims assistant to join the team so if you do know anyone who may be interested, please ask them to drop me a line for more details at [email protected].
