First4Lawyers in the media - December 2020
The last quarter of this year has been busy on the media front. At the beginning of October we wrote a blog for Claims which looked at why transparency now needs to be at the heart of a law firm’s business plan.
Later on in the month we launched our sixth whitepaper entitled ‘Choosing a Lawyer: What drives consumers?’. Our annual whitepapers have become an industry benchmarks, and as such was covered by Solicitors Journal, New Law Journal and Legal Futures. Managing director, Qamar Anwar was also asked to write an opinion piece on the back of the whitepaper for Solicitors Journal, which will be published in January and we will share with you in our next newsletter.
Following the launch of the whitepaper we wrote two blogs in November for Claims magazine, which dived into some of the research we undertook looking at why personal injury law firms are wasting their budgets, and what are the four key principles that should direct your marketing strategy in the personal injury legal services market.
As the backdrop to the reforms rumbles on but with little to no information still available, and a conspicuous absence of the new rules, director of operations, Andy Kay and head of marketing, Andy Cullwick appeared on separate panel sessions at this year’s virtual PI Futures conference. Andy Cullwick delivered a presentation examining what the marketing outlook for firms is if low-value RTAs disappear from the market, and how to generate effective claims that exclude RTA.
As we head towards Christmas, and the end to what has been a challenging year for all of us, we have launched this week our annual State of the Market survey which gives a snapshot of how firms are preparing for the challenges that reforms in 2021 will bring. You can read all about it here.
